Creative Weekend Links

Creative Weekend Links - June 2016Just this past weekend, hubby and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. Twelve years! Add to that another five years of dating before officially tying the knot, and that makes it seventeen years of being together. Time really flies! We celebrated in our typically low-key style with dinner out and an early evening in. And as always, hubby surprised me with a small token of his affection – these flowers which I am awkwardly attempting to photograph.  He hid the bundle in a spot he knew I frequented on weekends. The laundry room! Sad, but true ;) It was a sweet and silly way to add an element of the unexpected. So as we head into another weekend, full of possibility, I hope these creative weekend links spark something new, unexpected, and sweet for you too!

-It doesn’t get any cuter (or sweeter) than cupcakes that look like pineapples.

-Natural, non-toxic bath fizzes never looked so pretty.

-You’ll be surprised at just how simple these outdoor tribal pillow cases are to make.

-I am obsessed with these geometric himmeli products – so, so creative! (Need to make some knock-off versions!)

-See how this white and gold cactus ‘wallpaper’ effect is made (sans wallpaper).

-I long for the day to have as organized and beautiful a craft space as this craft closet.

Hope you have a sweet and creative weekend 🙂
