Thank you, Neeti! Sometimes simple can be downright beautiful and these coasters show that. The texture is lovely and I enjoy using them in our living room, even if it’s just to look at them 🙂 Take care, my friend!

I bought 5mm rope cording that you recommended and it’s too thick. Is it 3mm that you used?

Hi Jeanette – Sorry to hear this! I used the 5mm macrame, as indicated. However, I’ve also noticed that, depending on the seller, sizing does not seem to be standard. I recently purchased what was advertised as 3mm macrame string, but it was thicker than my 5mm! So, why the difference? From what I can tell, the 3mm is an extremely soft string that is not nearly as tightly wrapped as my 5mm string. Of course, I didn’t know this until it arrived. If buying from Etsy, I would recommend asking the seller to send a picture next to a measuring stick to determine exactly how thick it really is. I hope this helps!
