My Fall Decor Favourites

It’s now September and the weather here in eastern Ontario is starting to get a wee bit chillier. I’ve always preferred the balmy days of summer over fall, but I am ready to embrace the coming autumn with all its colour and cozy comforts. In fact, I’ve already begun to decorate our home using accessories included in My Fall Decor Favourites Round Up (find the full list at the bottom of this post).

Over the past few years, I’ve been increasingly drawn to incorporating seasonal elements that integrate into our home’s existing design. Making just a FEW SIMPLE SWAPS are my GO-TO METHOD of transitioning between seasons or sprucing up a space.

Among those swaps are these STUNNING FAUX JAPANESE MAPLE BRANCHES that add a lovely pop of colour. They work incredibly well within our normally neutral aesthetic. I used just three stems, shaped to have that ‘straight-from-nature’ look, creating INSTANT AUTUMN VIBES on our dining room table.

I’ve also been drawn to creating SIMPLE, VINTAGE-STYLE VIGNETTES like this one in our FRONT FOYER.

I simply SHOPPED OUR HOME for ‘moody’ accents and then popped these STUNNING FAUX BURGUNDY STEMS I found on Amazon into a plain vase. It was an easy, low-budget way to dress up this spot.

NOTE: If you like the look of these 3-pack florals, just know that the base of these stems have a somewhat ‘plastic’ feel and look, but the actual FOLIAGE is BEAUTIFUL AND QUITE REALISTIC with a lot of SUBTLE COLOUR VARIATION throughout. A great find for the price.
