It’s great to be back for another Sweet Inspiration Link Party. Welcome!
Life Lately: Our Florida Getaway
If you follow me on Facebook then you already know that I was off last week and on a Florida getaway with Mr. Fix. The weather was absolutely beautiful with sunny skies all week long. It allowed us to be the tourists that we were, visiting some historic sights like the SS American Victory museum and the Tampa Bay History Center, as well as the cutest fishing village at a place called John’s Pass.
Our only regret? Our visit was far too short 🙁
If nothing else, we came away with some great memories and a renewed energy for all that comes with a busy life back home – and just in time for another Sweet Inspiration Link Party 🙂
Sweet Inspiration Link Party Details

Our Favourites From Last Week’s Party:
I am so inspired by this pantry makeover by Jen over at Noting Grace. Hers was budget-friendly and all about the small details from the stained shelving (love) to the milk glass display. This pantry is both practical AND pretty – my fave combination 🙂
Mary says: We are always eating pizza in my house and we try to do it as healthy as possible. And that means looking for the best crust recipe out there. So when I spotted this pizza dough recipe from Making a House a Home, I knew I had to share it with my girl who is always in the kitchen making things. There’ll be lots more pizzas in the house now!
Christina says: A great tutorial by Joy at Artful Homemaking about how to install a beadboard kitchen backsplash yourself and save money.
Michelle says: Isn’t this forest fairy crown that Leanna made for her granddaughter just so beautiful? Not only does she share a brilliant tutorial on how she made it, she also made some fairy wings and a tutu too and you can get it all over at over at Fairies And Fauna.
Florence says: At some point in her life, every girl dreams of being a princess. Take a historical tour of these spectacular real-life crowns, coronets, and tiaras and who wore them researched by Laura from Decor to Adore.
And now (drum roll, please!), the post that received the most views from last week’s party is…
A Shopping Basket Repurposed Into A Wall Cat Lounger by Vintage With Laces –> Congrats!
Now, onto the Party!

February 24, 2018 at 12:47 amHello Jelica! I’m having a wonderful time this evening reading a bunch of posts on this week’s Sweet Inspiration party. Especially loved Laura’s post on Tiaras and Coronets… sigh! For this anglophile and follower of British royalty, it is a beautifully written piece that follows the royal family chronologically. I am #51 this week with a post about visiting two shops while on vacation in California three weeks ago now ~ Posies and Picket Fences. It is pretty lengthy but they were worth the long write-up. I hope your readers will agree!
Have a great rest of your weekend,
Barb 🙂
p.s. Just found you on FB so asked to follow you. 🙂

So much creative stuff out there! Will take a stroll through your post this weekend. I would love to visit California one day!
