Sometimes, crafting can get complicated with all the supplies that are required. That’s why I wanted to share some of the crafts I’ve done over the years that use a limited number of supplies (with just 1 or 2 exceptions that I just had to squeeze in 😉 ). Each one of these 10 Christmas Craft Ideas are among my favourite festive decorating projects and did not take long to make.
PLUS, I’m including links to BONUS craft content (over 25 additional ideas) you’ll want to check out. They’re easy to make and several are perfect for your kids to get involved with, too.

DIY FELT PINECONE ORNAMENT
In the name of all that is soft and cozy at Christmas, I think a DIY felt pinecone ornament definitely fits the bill. This one involves a bit more time and a few more steps than some of the others on this list, but the final result will be well worth it.
DIY EMBROIDERY HOOP ORNAMENT
Coming in at just under $15, this sweet and simple hoop ornament was a cinch to make and just a little bit addicting, too, with so many possible colour and design combinations to choose from. Using just 3 supplies and a pair of scissors, this took just a few minutes to make.

DIY FELT ELF HAT
This was one of my favourite festive fun-tivities (that’s a mouthful!). And best of all, all the materials came from the dollar store. I share the DIY in a video tutorial featuring 5 Minimal, Modern Dollar Store Christmas Crafts (it’s number 2 on the list). The video was part of a collaboration that includes bonus craft ideas in the description box below the video from the talented ladies over at Sustain My Craft Habit.
DOWEL CANDLE HOLDER
Another dollar store craft, this dowel candle holder is one of my favourite elegant craft ideas that you can use any time of year. Leave the dowels unpainted for a raw, natural look or paint them a colour to match your decor.
