It’s the end of another summer and, I must admit, I am a bit saddened by it. I have always loved summer for all that it offers: longer days, vacationing, visiting with far off friends and family, and an opportunity to literally and figuratively smell the flowers.
But for all that summer offers, fall affords a great deal of inspiration for me. Summer does not quite compare to fall when it comes to crafting and decorating around the home – at least that’s been my experience. With fall comes an extra dose of creativity and adventurous decorating. I think that comes from a place of knowing that it is only temporary and I can take some risks that I might not otherwise take with decor pieces that will have a more permanent place in my home. Whatever it is, fall is one of my favourite times to be creative around the home!
