DIY LEAF VINE MACRAME: DOUBLE HALF HITCH KNOT
One of my favourite macrame knots has got to be the double half hitch knot. I love the clean look of it and its wide application.
I’ve share two variations of the double half hitch knot right here on the blog and on my YouTube channel that you can check out below:
-
Modern, Minimal Coasters Using the Double Half Hitch Knot
-
Christmas Ornaments Using the Double Half Hitch Knot
Once you start to use this knot to create a couple of designs, it becomes easier to envision using it in more unique ways, like this DIY Leaf Vine Macrame pattern.
You can use this knot to create curves, angles and straight rows. It’s that versatile a knot.
So if you’re ready, let’s try a new pattern using the double half hitch knot, inspired by nature!
