Today, I’m excited to share with you how to make a lush and beautiful winter wreath using fresh greenery. It’s the perfect front door decor for either the holidays or the winter season.

There once was a time when the idea of making a fresh winter wreath seemed – well – a bit intimidating. After falling in love with wreath-making a few years ago, however, I soon picked up a few tricks for creating the perfect live wreath, and one that lasts! 

If that’s something you’ve always wanted to try, but never felt confident about, then you’re in for a real treat. Today, I’m showing you how to make a fresh, evergreen wreath for your front door.

In this detailed video tutorial, I’ll take you through each step from cutting your clippings to layering your bundles to properly attaching your greenery.

SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED

  • Fresh Evergreens: pine, cedar, noble fir, berried juniper (or any mix you prefer)
  • (Optional) Embellishments: handful of faux eucalyptus
