I FINALLY got around to decorating our front porch for fall. Despite starting late in the season, I was determined to decorate our stairs again this year – and I was so glad I did! Stick around as I take you for a tour of our fall porch refresh.
Despite the slim pickings – serves me right for starting late this year! – I was relatively happy that there were still some white mums available. Last year, I had only red mums to work with, which turned out well, but I really wanted to switch things up this year.
But honestly, you can’t go wrong with mums, whatever their colour!
In designing the look, I kept the materials really simple: mums and pumpkins.
And of the two, the white mums are the stars who have a supporting cast of white and orange pumpkins of varying sizes and looks. I found a couple of other flowers – quite by accident – and even came across some ‘warty’ pumpkins and small tiger stripe gourds that added a fun, visual to the overall effect.
TOUR OUR FALL PORCH REFRESH
So without further ado, let me take you on the tour:
I hope you enjoyed taking the tour of our fall porch refresh. I so enjoyed putting this together from whatever was left over at the nursery – even got some discounts in the mix 🙂
Now the challenge will be keeping everything alive for as long as I can.
Wish my luck 🙂
