There are still several more sleeps ‘til Christmas, but…I couldn’t help myself! I’ve almost finished decorating our home for the holidays and thought it’d be fun to give you a sneak peek. So here it is! Our kitchen & dining room Christmas tour!
OUR KITCHEN & DINING ROOM CHRISTMAS TOUR
My continual love of bright and neutral colour comes as no surprise. In some ways, it’s a continuation of last year’s Christmas home tour style. That’s because I so enjoy the feeling of calm that creamy whites, greens and wood tones bring to my home.
What IS new this year, however, is the addition of little pops of red to add some traditional Christmas cheer to our space.
First up is our Nordic-inspired dining room which I refreshed earlier this year. Now, it’s all decked out with holiday greens and whites and touches of red.
I found this cooking pot at my local thrift store, spray-painted it white, and put one of my ‘Charlie Brown’ mini trees inside. I just love the fresh, farmhouse look!
I decided this year that I’d add a few more fairy lights which add a real pretty sparkle that you’ll see all throughout our space.
From our dining room, you can catch a glimpse of our kitchen island decorated for the holidays.
Last year I had a Christmas Village theme all throughout my home. While this year, I decided instead to focus my village display on my kitchen island.
Our kitchen also got the holiday treatment with a couple of mini trees and fairy lights. I kept things subtle and simple. Nothing fancy, but festive all the same.
I hope you enjoyed our kitchen & dining room Christmas tour! I kept it simple and minimal with some pops of red to add a touch of holiday glam. Can’t wait to put the finishing touches to the rest of our space 🙂
Until then, Burger the Cat wishes you well as you decorate your homes for the holidays.
