I’m so excited to bring you along for my annual holiday home tour! This one is a nature-inspired Christmas Home Tour that I hope will give you some style and diy ideas for your home.
This year, I kept things simple and minimal (well, perhaps nothing new there!) but with more warmth than last year’s light & bright holiday decor.
I added more warmer, woodsy elements to my usual green and white Christmas colours with some touches of black to keep things grounded.
All-in-all, It’s a very Scandi-inspired space with loads of natural elements sprinkled throughout.
I hope you enjoy it ❤️

Living in Canada, I know that our porch will soon be covered in snow! So I kept things minimal, decorating around the base of our front door and hanging this DIY Foraged Wreath.
If you’d like to create your own natural wreath, check out the full tutorial in my Christmas Decorate With Me Video: Decorating A Small Front Porch & Entryway.
Moving into our entryway, I decided to create a high-impact wreath gallery wall. It’s a narrow space that really needed a strong style hit!
Our fur babies loved it!
Our Great Room space includes a living room, dining room, and kitchen in one open-concept living space, so I sprinkled natural elements all throughout.
I kept our tree natural and simple with warm and neutral ornaments, including some DIYs.
Here are some of my favourite ornament DIYs that you and your kiddos can try this season:
- How To Make Paper Honeycomb Ornaments
- Modern Dollar Store Crafts (including the upcycled reindeer ornament above)
- Simple, Boho Hoop Ornaments
- Air Dry Clay Ornaments, 5 Ways
In keeping with a warm and natural mood, I used both food and nature to create this neutral, holiday tablescape.
Our dining room went through a couple of iterations before I landed on this simple, light and bright holiday decor scheme.
Next to our dining room, our kitchen style was kept simple and minimal, so that it remained functional all throughout the holiday season.
On the other end of our Great Room is this DIY Gallery Wall with some simple holiday touches.
And, finally, I added a simple throw blanket, greenery, and this DIY candle holder (among other Modern Dollar Store Christmas Crafts) here for a simple style touch.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Nature-Inspired Christmas Home Tour!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas ❤️

November 15, 2023 at 9:24 amThank you for all these great ideas and tutorials Jeslica. I too love a more natural decorating theme that you’ve created. Much better than all the glitter and bling being sold in stores for Christmas.

December 10, 2023 at 10:53 amHi Debby! I’m definitely someone who enjoys the natural part of Christmas the most. A little sparkle is always nice, too, but nothing beats the beauty of creation that is all around us 🙂
