I love Fridays – don’t you? The end of my work week always feels a little lighter and a little more joyful as I look ahead towards the weekend. And while some look forward to going out, I look forward to staying in, watching my Netflix, and crafting in my pajamas (geek alert 😉 ). So, if you’d like to join me for some geek time, let’s kick this weekend off with a little craft, recipe and DIY inspiration right here, right now at today’s Sweet Inspiration Link Party.
The Party Details
The party starts on Fridays 11am EST/ 4pm GMT and runs until Tuesday 11am EST/4pm GMT. By joining us each week you’ll be able to grow your blog and be inspired by others who link up to the party. I hope you’ll join us each and ever week to share your projects and learn something new!

Our Favourites From Last Week’s Party:
My Pick – How To Make a Shiplap Frame For Less Than $10
This lovely shiplap frame DIY by Marie from Rever en couleur beautifully frames this wreath. It’s so versatile, too. Just swap out the wreath and add something different, changing things up from season to season, or just sprucing up this perfectly fresh farmhouse vignette.
Mary’s Pick – How To Preserve Pinecones and Acorns for Decorating
Mary says: Leslie of From Playdates to Parties must have had me in mind when she wrote this one. I came home the other day with an armful of pine cones and resin all over my blouse and hands (and the camera too, but shhhh…) So now I need to clean these up right away because why should I spend money on pine cones when nature gives them away for free?
Christina’s Pick – Candy Corn Hot Chocolate Stirrers
Christina says: Do you need something easy and tasty for your Halloween party? How about some candy horn hot chocolate stirrers? Dwan from Momma DJane shows us the way.
Michelle’s Pick – How To Make a Cool Map Rock Keychain
Michelle says: With Christmas around the corner, GASP!!! wouldn’t these awesome “mapped” key rings that Claire over at Pillar Box Blue made be just perfect as stocking fillers. I just love how creative that woman is.
Florence’s Pick – Bohemian Pom Poms DIY
Florence says: How cute are these colorful Bohemian Pom Poms DIY by Maya Kuzman from Little Treasures. Maya discovered using different textures of materials in the pom-pom maker and added a fun and unique look. I sure think so! Now I think I’m going to put a pom-pom maker on my Christmas list!
