I don’t know about you, but I sure could use a break from winter! The temperatures remain in the minus teens and twenties (Celsius) and, well, it’s driving me a little bonkers. But, thankfully, there are still some things that keep me sane, including this creative space here at the Sweet Inspiration Link Party. Honestly, it’s one corner of blogland where I learn something new and continue to nurture my love for all things DIY! And for all of you who visit us each week, I’m so happy you could join us again. And for all the newcomers: Welcome!

Our Favourites From Last Week’s Party:
French Sipping Chocolate Recipe by All That’s Jas
I love hot chocolate, so when Jas from All That’s Jas introduced this rich, decadent French sipping chocolate recipe on her blog, I was all in! (And, by the way, Jas has the most amazing global, especially European, recipes on her site that you could easily spend a good chunk of your day drooling over. You’ve just got to check it out!)
DIY Vintage Suitcase Wall Photo Display by Dazzle While Frazzled
Mary says: As someone who has lots of vintage suitcases around, I’m always happy to see them get repurposed into something useful. Victoria of Dazzle While Frazzled did a stellar job transforming this one into a DIY Photo Display.
Metallic Hearts Valentine’s Day Decor by My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies
Christina says: Laurie from My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies says: “Valentine day is one of those Holidays that come and go so quickly” She is right so an easy and quick project like this Metallic Hearts wall art is perfect. You can use it all year around!
A Simple Little Valentine’s Day Sign by Shoppe No. 5
Michelle says: Debra over at Shoppe No. 5 made these sweet little signs from scraps of wood and a stencil technique I’ve never tried before. I really love how subtle the lettering is and they would make such gorgeous gifts for Valentine’s day.
A Folkloristic Valentine’s Shawl by Atelier Marie-Lucienne
Florence says: Marjan from Atelier Marie-Lucienne shows off a beautiful Folkloristic Valentine Shawl she crocheted…perfect for Valentine’s Day (see the big heart in the middle?) but can be worn anytime you want to be attractive and snuggly warm at the same time.
And now (drum roll, please!), the post that received the most views from last week’s party is…
