As 2022 begins, I’m taking a moment to share the top 10 posts of 2021 from A Pretty Fix!
It’s been another crazy year with a few interesting detours for me. I finally opened my Etsy shop with some of my handcrafted fibre art pieces for sale. I’ll soon be providing fibre art courses and crafting supplies for all of my fellow-DIYers – so stay tuned!
I’ve also been updating the blog with a more user-friendly navigation menu along the top. I’ve grouped all crafting DIYs under “Create” and decorating and homemaking tips under “Decorate,” while keeping the most popular posts – of all time – under “Popular Posts.”
I’ll continue to make more updates in the weeks to come!
In the meantime, I want to take this moment to thank each and everyone of you. Whether you are a new reader or someone who’s been following the blog since the beginning, it’s been a joy to have you along for the ride. Without you, I would not be as inspired to continue sharing all that I create, make or decorate at home. I am truly thankful.

10. How to Choose Art prints for Your Home (+ My Source List)
I LOVE the process of choosing art prints for my walls. With so many affordable options out there, though, it can be a bit tricky to find just the right fit. This is a great guide to finding some beautiful AND affordable prints out there.
9. How To Make a Rustic Mixed Moss Wreath
This mixed moss wreath was my take on the traditional moss wreath that typically uses only 1 type of moss. To this day, it surprises me just how easy it is to keep the moss attached – I always imagined it falling apart! But mine remains intact and ready to be used again next summer 🙂
8. Bookshelf Styling When You Have a LOT of Books
As someone who has far too many books (many still waiting to be placed on a shelf), this was a great start at getting them out. And I loved finding a few small pockets of space to decorate my bookcase so that it still felt stylish somehow!
7. DIY Fringeless Weaving: Half Damascus Stitch
Not everyone is a fan of fringe on all their weavings and I knew I could not be the only one!
6. Modern, Minimal DIY Macrame Coasters
I’ve made a mental note that many of you love to learn basic fibre crafts by making coasters. It’s also one of my favourite ways to practice designs before applying them to something bigger. I’ll definitely add more to my blog post roster this year.
5 . Top 10 Mini Crafts from APF (of all time!)
This 6-year blogiversary post was a real hit with many of you who love to craft!
4. DIY Mixed Pampas Grass Wreath
This pampas grass wreath is one of my personal faves from the year. To me, it is the perfect neutral hit of decor that I can keep up throughout the year – and SO simple to make.
3. Organizing My Craft Room/ Office
I was happy to share the progress of updating my office and craft space with all of you. It came after taking a bit of break from YouTube and kick-started my official return on my channel! If you are looking for some great organizing ideas and products, you will LOVE this post.
2. 20+ Edgy, Modern Accent Chairs (+ Cat-Proofing Our Latest Additions)
Perhaps the most popular pieces of furniture on my Instagram feed (I get lots of positive comments on the pair of chairs that I ultimately went with). And I still love them!
1. Amazon Home Decor $25 or Less
With so many of us shopping online these days, it’s no wonder that this post was the #1 post of the year. I found some stunning pieces and all at incredibly affordable prices.
Here’s to another year of crafting and decorating at home!
