DIY Macrame Bookmarks + What I’m Reading Lately

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Jumbo Paper Clips, approx 2 inch X 1 inch (like these or these)

3mm Macrame String  (Amazon also has a wide variety of options here)

Tapestry Needle (like this bent tip needle)

Scissors

Painter’s Tape

All-Purpose Glue (I used Aleene’s Tacky Glue; another option is Elmer’s Glue-All)

Optional: Fabric Stiffening Spray

Optional: Basic Clipboard with Straight Edge Clip

I first saw the movie starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively on Netflix and loved it, so I decided to purchase the novel by first-time author, Darcey Bell. If you like a mystery set in suburbia, you’ll enjoy this one.

Okay, so not another book recommendation, but I’m always online, taking in the decor trends. Here is what’s on my reading list:

I am a big fan of getting modern decor for less. Thankfully, the design duo at the House of Valentina agree (love their style).

At various times, I have come up against these 10 common home decor challenges and solutions. So relatable!

Whatever happened to a good old fashioned vintage haul? And if there is anyone who can really ‘bring it’ with her impeccable taste and design sense, it’s got to be Emily Henderson.

According to design trends, beige is back. Good news for those of us who never thought it went away!
