Life Lately
I can’t believe that it was only a few short weeks ago that the weather was this sunny and beautiful.
Yep, that’s me and my husband picking pumpkins for our exterior fall decor. We had so much fun! Prior to that day, my experience picking pumpkins involved sticking my head inside a gigantic wooden crate outside our local grocery store. Convenient, yes. But nowhere near as fun as hand-picking your own in a pumpkin patch 🙂
But with the cooler temperatures and all the rain we’ve been experiencing of late, our pumpkin picking days feel like a distant memory.
As is so often quoted in the HBO series, the Game of Thrones: Winter Is Coming.
Sigh. Oh well. What can you do?
