My Christmas Home Tour!

Today, I’m excited to be taking you on our 2020 Christmas Home Tour!

2020 holiday home tour full of neutral, natural elements for the festive minimallst!

Last month, I shared our Dining Room & Kitchen Christmas Decor and wanted to follow that up with a tour of the rest of our home. Or, at least the main attraction: namely our Great Room.

As with last year’s Christmas Home Tour, neutral decor is the star of the show.

With a mix of greens, creams, black and wood tones, my Christmas decorating style is simple, relaxed and casual, but with one major difference: Red! With a few pops of this traditional Christmas colour, our home has a touch of traditional holiday glam this year.

Without further ado, here is my 2020 Christmas Home Tour!

Here is a view of our Great Room which includes the sitting area, dining area, and kitchen.

While the piece de resistance is always the Christmas tree, I waiver between grand and humble!

This year, I purchased a narrow tree that could actually fit into the corner of our living room space. It’s natural, neutral, and definitely humble, blending seamlessly into our space.

These stockings are part purchase and part DIY. I purchased the stockings on Amazon (see my Christmas decor picks on Amazon) but decided to sew stocking ‘covers’ using tea towels that slip over top of the original stockings. If I get tired of the look, I can slip them off.

As it is an open concept space, I made sure to repeat the same green and white elements in our dining room space.

Our kitchen also received a bit of Christmas cheer with a few festive touches, including a Christmas village and a few faux potted plants.

I also kept things simply decorated in this part of our living room area with a couple of white pillows and a bit of greenery.

In both our guest and main bathrooms I added very little decor. Just some bottle brush trees and these easy, DIY ring wreaths that I shared on the blog. It took only a few subtle details to give our bathrooms an instant hit of festive appeal!

First, here is our tiny guest bathroom.

Up next is our ensuite bathroom. I love how this turned out!

Finally – even though it’s a REAL MESS! – I cannot help but show you a bit of my craft room.

In behind my DIY loom and table full of yarn are another couple of cute DIY ring wreaths – the PERFECT way to add some Christmas cheer while I crafting over the holidays 🙂

I hope you enjoyed our Christmas Home Tour. I wish you and your family a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year!
