Sweet Inspiration Link Party #84

It already feels like winter in my neck of the woods. How about you? In fact, we’ve already experienced several light snow flurries over the past couple of weeks (can you believe it?). And while the song “Baby It’s Cold Outside” keeps swirling in my head as I write this post, I am – thankfully – inside.  Not only that, but I’m enjoying a hot cup of tea, in my pyjamas, about to get my DIY on with another Sweet Inspiration Link Party 🙂

Our Favourites From Last Week’s Party:

My Pick – Hosting A Harvest Tea

After recently hosting a harvest tea for friends, Laura from Decor To Adore walks us through how we can do the same. Everything from the decor to the china to the various savories (with recipe links) and sweets she served are included. All of the photos she shared made me long to be included in her next soiree!

Mary’s Pick – DIY Customizable Rustic Wooden Advent Calendar

Mary says:  Sheri of Hazel and Gold Designs made her own advent calendar using pieces of wood and hooks. And wow is it awesome. The beauty of it is that you can customize it any way you want.

Christina’s Pick – How to Flock a Christmas Wreath

Christina says:  Do you know how to flock a Christmas wreath? If not go to the twelveOeight blog to see how Tanya did it! I will definitely try it on my Christmas tree

Michelle’s Pick – Stop And Look At That Table Top

Michelle says:  I love the way that Debra from Shoppe No.5 transformed a rough, boring plank into this stunner. Doesn’t it just stop you in your tracks and make you wanna say “WOW”?

Florence’s Pick – Mixed Media Christmas Tags

Florence says:  I love these Christmas gift tags Tania from Little Vintage Cottage created from vintage greeting cards and bits of fabric trim! You can see the whole tutorial on how she did it, and a source for vintage cards in order to make your own.
