15 No-Knit Yarn Crafts

Aug. 28, 2015

These 15 No-Knit Yarn Crafts are a great way to be inventive with your home decor without picking up a single knitting needle or crochet hook! Simple and easy to make, and incredibly chic and stylish too.You may have already guessed that I love a good yarn project. If it’s not a wall hanging, it’s a wreath or, my latest love, weaving 🙂 But if the idea of creating a yarn craft intimidates you because you think you need to know how to knit, weave or crochet, do not despair! There are plenty of fresh and modern projects out there that you can make without the aid of needle, loom or hook. Yarns are incredibly versatile and come in so many lovely and vibrant colours, textures, and thicknesses. They can be applied to create splashes of colour to any surface, manipulated to conform to any shape, be cut to any length, and can be applied to any object of your choice to create a truly unique décor item or artistic display.

Today, I am sharing 15 no-knit yarn crafts. And, might I add, no-fail as well. Each of these projects are clever in their application and modern in their aesthetic look, use and appeal. What you’ll discover – that is, if you are new to yarn projects – is that yarn crafts are not just meant for the very young or very old; they are for anyone looking to add charm, wit and beauty in their dorm room, apartment or home.

So, here they are – my top 15 no-knit yarn crafts to try:

If you have any favourite no-knit yarn projects to recommend, please share them in this post or on my Facebook  page. I’m always on the look-out for a fresh approach to using yarn in the home. For those of you still on the fence, I hope that this list has inspired you to stop avoiding the yarn section at the craft store! Intimidation, be gone! Yarn crafts can be a fun and easy way to spruce up your home 🙂
