Sweet Inspiration Link Party #79

Oct. 20, 2017

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to another Sweet Inspiration Link Party!

Sweet Inspiration Link Party #67 | craft, decor, DIY, recipes

I don’t know about you, but the daytime weather has been just insane around here. One minute it’s cold – and I mean long underwear kinda cold – and the next, the temperatures could not get any balmier (is that even a word?). Well, either way, it’s been one heck of a week!

But if there is any silver lining, then it’s got to be that the nights have been a bit chilly, meaning that out comes the comfort food, the fuzzy slippers, and binging on Netflix. It is strangely comforting to know that I can watch Downton Abbey all the way through – again – or the same episodes of Ricky Gervais’ “Derek” over and over  🙂

Well, speaking of binging…Let’s get onto today’s link party binge!

The Sweet Inspiration Link Party Details

The party starts on Fridays 11am EST/ 4pm GMT and runs until Tuesday 11am EST/4pm GMT.  By joining us each week you’ll be able to grow your blog and be inspired by others who link up to the party. I hope you’ll join us each and ever week to share your projects and learn something new – win-win!

But first…

Our Favourites From Last Week’s Party:

My Pick – Apple and Butternut Squash Autumn Lasagna

This apple and butternut squash lasagna is the perfect comfort food this fall. Jas from All That’s Jas has so many amazing recipes on her blog, but this one is my fave for the season. Oh, and visit the post, and see 22 other links to apple recipes for the season!

Mary’s Pick – Another Chic Tray

Mary says:  Baba of Yummy Kitchen is such a talented artist. She was able to create this incredible look by just mixing up some chalk paint with the saltwash technique that gives her tray a beachy feel. Baba I know you are going to gift that to me!

Christina’s Pick – Thanksgiving Wreaths:  Make a Turkey Wreath

Christina says:  Cute, full of color Thanksgiving wreath made with bandannas! Angie from the Country Chic Cottage gives us full details so we can make our own wreath!

Michelle’s Pick – Little Breakfast Treat:  Garden Station DIY

Michelle says:  How could I possibly not fall in love with this gorgeous outdoor breakfast station that Maria from Simple Nature Décor shared? There’s a purr baby on a beautifully distressed dresser in a lovely garden. All the things that make my heart go “aawwwww.”

Florence’s Pick – 1850s/ 1860s Copper-Colored Taffeta Day Dress

Florence says:  Do you ever wonder how your ancestors in the 1850’s to 1860’s dressed? Lina of Sew Historically shows exactly how with a stunning Copper Colored Taffeta Day Dress complete with hat, gloves, vintage brooch, the appropriate unmentionables, all of which she has made herself! Check out her hairdo too!
